Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has declared Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez as "world class".

Martinez kept a clean sheet in Friday's FA Cup 0-0 draw at Chelsea.

Pochettino said: "He is world champion and world class. It is always difficult to beat them (Aston Villa).

"It is always difficult to win these matches, but it is also an opportunity for us to continue development.

"Of course we wanted to win, but we weren't cynical enough. We created chances, but we have to continue to believe in it and move on."
