Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino spoke out regarding transfer rumours about his team.
The Argentine has been frustrated at his team's lack of firepower in attack this season.
However, when asked about whether the club will be signing a big money striker, he admitted the purse strings may be tightening.
But he did state that Chelsea were not necessarily in a position where they had to sell players to buy more.
"No, it is not like this [sell to buy]. Like you know, too many rumours going around the clubs," Pochettino said to reporters.
"It is not what they translate to me. It is not necessary to sell to buy some players."
