Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino says he expects to see new additions in January.

Pochettino admits a transfer summit will be held next week ahead of the market opening.

He said: "We and the sporting director always talk and evaluate: if we have to do something we will be ready. The pressure is always to bring in young talent, and we have different types of targets: experienced, inexperienced, some younger than others and that's what it takes to provide the team with what it needs.

"We need to be open in describing the situation. Communication with the owners is always very good, we share everything. It's about sharing ideas; we need each other to express our vision in a way that is a positive statement for the club.

"If there is a need to add something, we do it together, in order to make the best decision for the club."
