Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino insists he has no regrets seeing Romelu Lukaku leave for Roma.
Chelsea had Nicolas Jackson upfront and Deivid Washington on the bench for yesterday's defeat to Nottingham Forest.
But Pochettino insists there was no chance of Lukaku staying to deepen their centre-forward options.
He was asked whether he was disappointed things didn't work out with Lukaku
"No because the situation was very clear and I did not create any expectation in my mind.," the Argentine said. "What I hear through the club, that the player wanted to leave, I believe that. The circumstances were clear."
