Chelsea boss Pochettino admits Caicedo knee setback

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino spoke about the fitness of several of his star players.

The Argentine was asked about players who were absent from their game against Bournemouth, but had not previously been declared injured.

After the 0-0 draw on Sunday, during which the Blues missed countless chances to score, Pochettino stated to reporters:

Marc Cucurella had a fever yesterday so was at home and not training, and today it continued.

Noni Madueke came back from his national team with a muscle problem.

Moises Caicedo came back with a knock to his knee.

“We need to assess them tomorrow, but that is why they was not available, along with another 10 or 11 players who were missing."
