Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor is being linked with a shock move to Chelsea. The Daily Express says Chelsea are considering a summer move for Adebayor.
Didier Drogba is expected to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of this campaign after acting as back-up striker this season behind Diego Costa and Loic Remy and manager Jose Mourinho wants another experienced emergency stand in.
Mourinho worked with Adebayor at Real Madrid in 2011 when he signed the Togo star on a six-month loan deal, so he knows the 31 year old well. Adebayor scored eight goals in 22 games at the Bernabeu.
