Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is chasing Newcastle United fullback Davide Santon. The Daily Star says reports in Italy suggest Mourinho is keen to add to his squad in the January transfer window and is interested in teaming up with Santon once again after being impressed by his good performances this term. The pair worked together at Inter Milan.
The 22-year-old has three years left on his current deal and manager Alan Pardew is unwilling to let the full-back leave on the cheap.
However Mourinho is convinced that a substantial offer will convince Pardew and Newcastle owner Mike Ashley to part with Santon.
