Chelsea boss Lampard ready for Bamford, Harrison reunions at Leeds

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard admits it'll be a day for reunions facing Leeds United.

Lampard played with Leeds midfielder Jack Harrison at New York City FC.

He said, "A lovely lad, spoke to him the other day but the player he has developed into ... he's one of their major players in an attacking sense. His career has gone in a great direction and will continue to."

Lampard also spoke of Leeds striker Patrick Bamford, who was with Chelsea while the manager was still playing for the Blues.

He recalled: "He trained with us quite a lot. Had great finishing abilities and an eye for goal in his early years. He should be proud of his career to come back and be one of the leading scorers in the Premier League. I like him as a lad, he's playing well and I'm happy for him."
