USL Pro club Charleston Battery have brought in a pair of Vancouver Whitecaps youngsters.
Whitecaps Premier Development League (PDL) squad members Ben Fisk and Emmanuel Adjetey will spend the 2013 season on loan with the Battery.
20-year old midfielder Fisk and 24-year old defender/midfielder Adjetey will be now able to further their development in a first team environment according to Vancouver head coach Martin Rennie.
"Ben has been one of the top young players we have had come through our Residency program and Emmanuel is a raw talent who we are interested in seeing further development," said Rennie.
"Playing minutes is vital for both of these young players. They are in a great environment with the Charleston Battery organization, so we're really excited to see how they progress."
