Celta Vigo coach Benitez calls for unity after victory over Almeria

Celta Vigo coach Rafa Benitez was delighted with victory over Almeria.

Oscar Mingueza scored the only goal on Friday night to ease pressure on Benitez.

Benitez later said: "The priority was to win, the team played quite well for 30 minutes in the first half. We had the goal disallowed. I insist that the VAR will have to review it for the future because they are canceling situations by millimetres.

"Then they hit the post and you have that feeling that you have to score and control the game."

On the whistles towards him, he added: "I think there is a priority that is Celta and we have to be united to support the players on the field. That is the key. I am very happy because the team has won. We have eleven games left and we have to remain united to achieve the objectives".
