Celta Vigo coach Carlos Carvalhal was happy after their 1-0 win against Elche.
However, the Portuguese warned they're not yet safe.
Joseph Aidoo struck late for the 1-0 win and Carvalhal said: “Many times you have to suffer for happiness to be greater, but nobody wants this. We entered the game well, positive.
"We played against a team that becomes very difficult because they compete and have no pressure. It is a very dangerous team. Their situation allows them to risk with more attacking players. We prepared well for the game, for everything: attacking, defending, passing well... And we knew that the opponent could attack and counterattack.
"We had to have respect for Elche, because they have the ability to score goals. That humility, that teamwork of ours, has been fantastic. I want to say a word to the Celta fans because on a Wednesday night, very late, because they have been fundamental when many of them are going to get up early tomorrow to go to work."
