Celta Vigo coach Rafa Benitez was left frustrated after their 0-0 draw with Rayo Vallecano.
Benitez rued a lack of composure in front of goal.
He said: "Logically you want to win but it is very important that the team competes and is strong until the end. You are left with the involvement of the players and the effort. I have to congratulate them.
"Both at the end of the first and second half we had more options to go out and do damage, we lacked precision in the final half. Leaving with a clean sheet is positive.
"We have shown against Barcelona or against Athletic that we can hurt any team, today we have not had that precision and in some other game neither and in others yes. We have to be aware that at the bottom of the table it is always more difficult to play calmly."
