Celta Vigo coach Benitez happy to earn first home win against Granada

Celta Vigo coach Rafa Benitez was delighted with their 1-0 win against Granada.

Jorgen Larsen proved the matchwinner as Benitez enjoyed a first win at home.

He said, "We deserved, after so many games, to win. The team has fought and worked, with the fortune of not conceding. With cards and the expulsion, the team has done well. The game was complicated for us and with the background we had, you no longer know.

"The issue of cards has affected us a lot. We all deserved a victory like that."

On Iago Aspas' dismissal, Benitez added: "I haven't seen any play. I'm not talking about the referees, I'm going to try to stay out of it. Iago is fine because we have won the three points and he is hurt because he knows that he is a little late for that play.

"I don't look at the table much but it's always good. From the emotional point of view it can be positive and a reinforcement for work."
