Ricardo Carvalho was delighted with Real Madrid's defeat of Espanyol.
The former Chelsea defender feels Real are growing in confidence after every game.
"It is important to win these games because it gives us confidence and encouragement. These are games we have to win to keep growing as a team. Today we had to play well and win, we won but I'm sure we will improve our game," he remarked.
