England boss Fabio Capello has confirmed he's invited crocked LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham to join his World Cup squad.
Beckham, 34, was ruled out of the finals after snapping an Achilles tendon.
Capello said: "We have already asked David to come to South Africa.
"It could well be he is with us at the World Cup. It totally depends on him."
