Chelsea's new record signing Moises Caicedo is set to wear the iconic no.25 shirt at the club.

The number once belonged to the club's hero Gianfranco Zola, an Italian playmaker.

Now that Ecuadorian international Caicedo has signed a long-term contract after moving from Brighton, he is ready to get going at Stamford Bridge.

“I'm so proud to wear this number," said Caicedo to club media.

“I spoke with Gianfranco Zola, and he gave me his blessing.

“I know how much this number means. I chose it because it is a very special number to me and my family.

“I want to create a lot of memories for Chelsea with this number on my back."
