Gary Cahill has admitted that the final minutes of Chelsea's 2-1 victory over Norwich City were horrible to be involved in.

Chelsea continued their wonderful run of form by claiming a narrow win over relegation battlers Norwich = on Tuesday night but the Blues were made to dig deep in order to earn the three points.

Norwich put Chelsea under intense pressure during the last 20 minutes of the game and defender Gary Cahill has gone on to admit that his side had to work really hard in order to hold on to the three points on the night.

Cahill said: "It was horrible by the end. The last 15 to 20 minutes was tough. But in first half we were in control.

"In the second, it was a totally different game. Credit to them. It feels good to dig in and grind out the result."

Kenedy and Diego Costa had the Blues 2-0 up at the break before the Canaries fought back well in the second lot of 45 minutes, pulling it back to a one-goal deficit through Nathan Redmond.
