Cagliari believe they can raise €50m from the sale of Nicolo Barella.
Barella, 21, made his Italy debut in a 1-1 draw with Ukraine this month and is attracting interest from Unai Emery's Arsenal and Liverpool.
"Cagliari has received offers and rejected them," the youngster told Gazzetta dello Sport. “I am glad that I am still playing for the club that I am a supporter of.
“I feel at home here. In consultation with the chairman, we have chosen to ignore the proposals.
“I have not even considered them, Cagliari has always been my first choice.
“If I had to choose between the Serie A and the Premier League, I would go for England because I love the way they approach the game."
