Sergio Busquets says Barcelona players have been well aware of Andre Gomes' problems.

The Portugal midfielder described his two seasons at Barca as "hell" in an interview this week, admitting he is worried about being spotted on the street by fans.

Busquets admits the players have known about Gomes' struggles and have tried to support him.

"We all knew it, even if it's something personal," said.

"We always tried to help him, but in the end, he is the one who can only help him and improve things. We did everything we could to help him."
