Burnley striker Sam Vokes says they must be focused going to Cardiff City today.

After a disappointing start to the new campaign the Clarets raised the mood around Turf Moor with a crushing 4-0 win over Bournemouth last weekend.

Vokes told Burnley's official website: "You put a couple of results together now and you jump up that table.

"It's important that we do that.

"We can't just lay back after the Bournemouth result and think that's the job done - we need to build on that and go again."
