Burnley set to sign PSV Eindhoven fullback Shurandy Sambo

Burnley are set to sign PSV Eindhoven fullback Shurandy Sambo.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting Sambo is about to move to England.

The 22-year-old will join Burnley in the summer - as his current contract with PSV Eindhoven expires in a few months, the deal will be free of charge.

The right-footer will sign a four-year contract with the Clarets.

It is still questionable whether Sambo will play in the Premier League. The Clarets are currently 19th place on the table.

Vincent Kompany's team still has seven match days left to make up a six-point deficit to safety. Sambo is being carefully introduced to first team football in the meantime. The Dutch youngster has played nine first-league matches in the current season.
