Burnley have opened talks with Sheffield United for Sander Berge.

The Norway international is available from the Blades this summer, despite his importance to the squad.

Burnley have now made their move and talks are underway over a deal for Berge.

Negotiations between the two clubs are now at an advanced stage, according to the The Telegraph's Mike McGrath.
