Burnley and Newcastle United are reportedly planning a summer move for Liverpool defender Nat Phillips.
Phillips played 17 times in the Premier League this season but it is anticipated that he will soon fall back down the pecking order at Anfield when Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez return from long-term injuries, while new arrival Ibrahima Konate will provide another option.
Burnley boss Sean Dyche has made contact with Liverpool for Phillips.
Newcastle are also monitoring Phillips' situation as they consider whether to make an offer for the 24-year-old.
Phillips may now consider his future following Ibrahima Konate's arrival from RB Leipzig.
