Burnley midfielder Josh Cullen: We can't dwell on Tottenham defeat

Burnley midfielder Josh Cullen says they must not dwell on defeat to Tottenham.

Cullen spoke after their 5-2 home defeat to Spurs.

He said: "It was a tough afternoon for us. It was tough to take and these times now we need to show what we are about as a team.

"We have no time to feel sorry for ourselves and we need to pick ourselves up and go again. It's early in the season and we have had a tough start but we need to improve and we know that.

"I thought we started on the front foot and had a good start, which we try do every game but any lapses of concentration are punished in this league and we saw that today."

Cullen added: "It's a game of fine margins, we could have gone into half-time at 1-1 and the second half starts a different game and even when they scored the third we could have pulled one back instantly.

"Whether we win, lose or draw we always watch it back and see what we could have done better and we'll do that on Monday.
