Burnley midfielder Gudmundsson: Don't panic over table position

Burnley midfielder Johann Berg Gudmundsson says they must stay calm today against Arsenal.

The veteran has urged calm as they battle inside the Premier League dropzone.

He told the club's website: “I think it's just important to keep calm heads. It's stay really early, there's loads of games to go. It's a rollercoaster season and we just need to stay right in the middle.

“When the wins come it's important to not get too high and when the losses come to not get too down and low about it.

“I think if you can stay in the mindset and mentality across the whole season then it can help you massively."

The wideman added: “I remember a few seasons ago where we didn't win for a long time, but we just have to stick together and put the work in on the pitch and at training and it can pay off.

“It's definitely not through lack of effort that we haven't done so well, I think we're one of the highest In the league in terms of running distance, so it's certainly not that.

“It's just them fine details we need to fix and that's what we are trying to do every day to rectify the errors from the last games"
