Burnley manager Kompany seeking reaction against Bournemouth

Burnley manager Vincent Kompany is looking for his players to show him a reaction this weekend.

The Clarets were disappointed to lose to Brentford in the Premier League last time around.

Now they take on Bournemouth, who are also serious candidates for relegation.

During his news conference, Burnley boss Kompany said: “The biggest thing for me is belief and to always have it. It's important for me and no matter what happens, the main thing is that the team believes and then from a bad game like Brentford it's to see what the response can be.

“It's about how you react after this. Look at the Sheff United game last year and the response we got. Yes, I know it's a different league and some different players but it's what I want to see now from this group.

"It's a mindset thing and I've always been that way. It was tough last weekend and no one has shied away from it, but it's about what you do after."
