Burnley goalkeeper Lukas Bornhoft Jensen keen on loan move

Burnley goalkeeper Lukas Bornhoft Jensen admits he'll be ready to leave on-loan next season.

Bornhoft has been playing regularly for the U23s this term.

"My agent and I talk about how far down we have to go. I could also be loaned out to a Danish team," he said.

"It is mostly about where we see that I can develop the most and where there is the best opportunity to have playing time.

"If I want to be loaned out, I prefer not to sit on the bench, because then my career can quickly stop again. It's about getting some fighting in the legs.

"These are the ones that one develops from. You have to bring that along."

But he added: "If everything goes well, as I hope, then I'll just train a lot with the first team after the summer and become a regular part.

"It is the dream scenario, and there are also high expectations. If that is not possible, I would also like to loan, but it also depends on what happens to the first team."
