Burnley defender James Tarkowski insists he never fouled Enrico Chiesa for Italy's penalty on Tuesday night.
The incident proved decisive in the 1-1 draw between England and Italy, as Lorenzo Insigne's spot-kick awarded using VAR cancelled out a Jamie Vardy opener.
“I stood on his foot but I didn't think a lot of it," the debutant told ITV.
“It is what it is - I'm not going to complain. It's been a great experience this week. It's never a penalty.
“It would have been nice to have two wins (after Friday's 1-0 win in the Netherlands), but I think there's a lot of positives to take. We look forward to the World Cup now."
