Burnley boss Kompany delighted with victory at Fulham

Burnley boss Vincent Kompany was left delighted after their 2-0 win at Fulham.

Wilson Odobert and Sander Berge scored on the day.

Kompany said: “It was a really good performance. Every game is tough in this league and today was no different.

“The other team has talented players and are able to create chances as well, but I thought in the key moments the team did really well.

“We were able to remain dangerous in most phases of play whether we had the ball, whether we were defending, whether it was the little bits in between, second balls, loose balls, mainly that, especially in the second-half.

“It helped us give us a performance that gave us a chance. But I've said it quite a few times, we've had quite a lot of good performances now but it's the results that obviously gives you the reward.

“The goals we scored represented everything that went wrong at the end of the first-half. Not the full first-half, but the end of the first-half.

“We were more alive to loose balls, we just shifted our feet a bit quicker and that allowed us to come out with the ball and give us the intent to go forward and be dangerous.

“When the ball gets to the final third it's down to the individual quality of the player and they did really well."
