Burnley boss Sean Dyche was pleased with his youngsters for their FA Cup shootout defeat of MK Dons.
It was a first game since June for the fit-again Jack Cork, the welcome return of Johann Berg Gudmundsson, and a youthful bench that saw Joel Mumbongo make his debut, and finish the game alongside Anthony Glennon and Josh Benson.
Dyche said: “I was pleased for the young players. There is always something that balances out the negatives and so there's that.
“Josh looks more at home every time he gets out there. Glenno has done well again, and then there's Joel, who I felt was right today.
“We needed that bit of pace up there and I tought he did excellent when he came on."
