Burnley boss Dyche: Aston Villa win epitomised what we're about

Burnley manager Sean Dyche says defeating Aston Villa 3-2 at home shows what his team is all about.

The Clarets had to rally from behind at Turf Moor against the high flying Villains.

While they are not the team with the most talent in the Premier League, Dyche has always hailed his players' resilience and courage.

"Tonight epitomised what we are about, in different ways," beamed Dyche to reporters post-game.

"In the first half Villa were the better side; there's no two ways about it.

"They had more composure on the ball and defended resolutely when they needed to, without the ball.

"They had a much better half than us, but our resilience to do all the right things was there to see.

"We could have been down a couple, but we keep doing the ugly stuff well and we kept working.

"I said to the players at half time that I didn't think they could be as strong in the second half, but we could be miles better and I thought we were."
