Bruno Fernandes wants to see Manchester United's youngsters grasp their chances during the club's preseason.

The Red Devils kicked off their tour of Asia and Australia with a 4-0 win over Liverpool in Bangkok on Tuesday.

Like many of United's youngsters, Fernandes is also enjoying his first pre-season tour since his January 2020 arrival due to the pandemic.

And the Portuguese star has sent a message to his young teammates.

"This [tour] has to be a dream for them, in the same way it is for me," said the 27-year-old. "Age is just a number, they have to enjoy it.

"At the same time they have to show they want to be here, want to be part of this team, and they want to play as much as I want to. If they show that and their quality - because they all have quality to be here, to be at this club at this level.

"They have to show that and show the coach that they can be part of this team too."
