Brighton veteran Lallana angered by Chelsea pair Fofana, Badiashile

Brighton veteran Adam Lallana was irked by the behavior of Chelsea players this weekend.

Lallana and his Albion teammates were beaten 3-2 at Stamford Bridge by the Blues.

Lallana appeared upset at the way Chelsea players were celebrating in front of him at full time.

Chelsea centre-back Wesley Fofana jumped onto the back of team-mate Benoit Badiashile, with the pair jubilant.

However, Lallana was not impressed with the pair and felt they were being overzealous.

Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino stated post-game: “We deserved the victory. When you analyze the game we were very competitive. It was an important victory for us because after [the Newcastle defeat] we needed to show a different face, and the team's response was really good.

“I told the players at half-time that we had a massive opportunity to show that we are a team. That was how we took the second half.

“Yes, we talked about the way we needed to play, but the most important thing with one man less was to challenge Brighton."
