Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross hailed the atmosphere generated by the home fans for victory over Chelsea on Saturday.
Gross rounded off the scoring with a late goal and ran to the North Stand as Albion beat Graham Potter's Chelsea 4-1.
He said: “We always try to be up for it.
“Chelsea is always a big game but every Premier League game is big for me.
“For me it doesn't make a big difference who is on the touchline – or Marc (Cucurella). I wish him all the best.
“They all did really well here."
However, Gross accepted the occasion had an extra edge for fans.
He said: “The supporters have been brilliant supporting us.
“Really loud, really good. I loved it.
“If you play football in a full stadium and you have your home fans behind you like that, it's really enjoyable."
