Brentford striker Toney: I have nothing to lecture Tonali about

Brentford striker Ivan Toney has no advice for Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali.

Tonali is currently serving a ban for making illegal bets, with Toney completing a similar suspension and making his playing return yesterday.

Speaking before scoring in the win against Nottingham Forest, Toney told the Daily Mail: "I don't want to lecture him. I'm happy that he was allowed to train with the team. It will be good for his mental health.

"I hope he does well and comes back stronger.

"My future? Everyone knows that I would like to play for a big team and be at the top of the league, playing with the best. I'm a Brentford player right now and until that time comes, whether it's in this window or at the end of the season or whenever that happens, then so be it, but right now I'm a Brentford player and that's the my goal."
