Brentford star Wissa proud of 2-goal performance

Brentford star Yoane Wissa was full of praise for the team's display against Luton Town.

The Bees took a giant step towards safety from relegation on Saturday in the Premier League.

The DR Congo star scored twice in a 5-1 win over Luton, who are firmly in the bottom three.

“The aim was to control the game from the beginning to the end, and this is what we have done," he stated post-game.

“We are very happy with the win; we are very happy to be 10 points clear of Luton. We are almost safe, so this was a very good afternoon for us."

On his own contribution, Wissa said: “I think the first one is a good goal, but the second one is the best one. I am happy to score two goals in one Premier League game, it's the first time for me.

“For the second, at this point it was very important because you don't know what Luton can do. After that, everyone was on top of their game and we really controlled it."
