Peterborough set to receive extra money from Brentford over Toney deal

Brentford are set to pay another £1million to Peterborough as part of the deal that took Ivan Toney to the club.

Part of the bonuses within the agreement included a payment if Brentford avoided relegation.

As the Bees are all but certain to stay up in the Premier League, they will have to make the payment in the summer to Peterborough.

Posh are set to receive another big fee in the summer, this time for defender Ronnie Edwards.

The 19-year-old is a target for the likes of RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, and Eintracht Frankfurt, per The Sun.

He is also wanted by Crystal Palace and Tottenham, and is rated at between £15 million and £20 million.
