Brentford midfielder Vitaly Janelt admitted some frustration after scoring in their 2-2 draw with Tottenham.
The Bees were at one stage leading 2-0.
He stated: "On one side, we're a bit disappointed, on the other side, I think before the game we would have taken a point.
“We knew, especially after the [Manchester] City game, everyone was excited after the World Cup break, we'd done well to make it 2-0 but, after that, I think we gave it a bit away.
"But, at the end of the day, I think we'll take a point against Tottenham at home."
On his goal, Janelt told the Bees website: “You always have to follow through, no matter what happens, so I thought, after the deflection, maybe.
“Matty struck it, there were some deflections, and then I kneed it in - it was a nice goal."
He added: “I think I said to someone during the training camp in Spain that these were the best goals because someone scored one like it in training. Now it was my turn!"
