Brentford's Rico Henry is dreaming of earning a call up to the England squad.

The defender is desperate to make the plane with the national team for the World Cup in Qatar this winter.

The left-back hopes that he can outshine the likes of Ben Chilwell in the remaining weeks of the domestic season before the competition begins.

“Obviously you need to do that," Henry agreed that he must keep performing consistently, per the Daily Mail.

“You just need to concentrate on yourself.

“The games are coming thick and fast because of the World Cup so you've got no time to dwell on the [last] game. You just have to focus on the next one.

“I want to get in the England team. That will be a big dream of mine. I've just got to focus on my work now with Brentford and hopefully it comes one day."
