Brazilian Football Federation president Rodrígues coy about interest in Real Madrid coach Ancelotti

Brazilian Football Federation president Ednaldo Rodrígues is coy over interest in Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Ancelotti is a candidate for the Selecao job after Tite's departure following World Cup 2022.

Rodrigues told Marca: "We are looking for a great coach and many of them are competing with their clubs right now . We are looking regardless of nationality. I cannot speak of any specific man. There are several and we are clear about what we want, but some are working in their clubs and you have to respect it.

"We want a coach who doesn't get scared by pressure, who knows what it's like to lead a team like Brazil, who plays beautiful football, but who also knows how to understand that you have to win."

The CBF president also says the coach should be permanently in Brazil.

"We believe that it is something necessary, that the coach knows in depth everything that there is in Brazil, the players that there are and that he is living there every day."
