Brazil U20 coach Ramon Menezes says Vitor Roque can handle a move to Barcelona.

Athletico Paranaense are on the brink of selling the young forward to Barca.

Menezes told RAC1: "All young players, including those coming out of Brazil, need a period of adaptation.

"Brazilian players take a little while to find their best in Europe. That's normal. But I think Vitor Roque can adapt very quickly to Barça's football. Physically and technically he is ready, he understands the game very well and that will make it easier for him to understand his tactical place in the team despite his youth.

"He is a physically strong and very intelligent player, knows when to attack the spaces. He has talent, high pace and a sense for goal.

"He is a very promising young player with a great future. Barça stand to gain a lot, they are taking an excellent player."
