Bournemouth winger David Brooks happy to play in empty stadiums

Bournemouth winger David Brooks says he would have no problem playing behind closed doors due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Premier League is set to meet again on Friday to discuss their next steps, with the current suspension of April 30 expected to be pushed back.

One of the options if games resume is play without fans, which Brooks supports.

The Wales international told talkSPORT: "If the Premier League and club are happy to do that, I personally don't have any problems with it.

"No player would tell you it's ever going to be the same without the fans and at times the fans can be that extra boost to get you the three points or point you might need.

"I think it would be more difficult and it's not going to be good for any team to play without any fans but I think everyone will be in the same boat – so you can't really complain."
