Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke admits he was unhappy to miss out on the England squad.
The forward has enjoyed a very productive season, scoring 16 goals in the top flight.
However, Solanke missed out on a squad place, with the likes of Ivan Toney and Ollie Watkins going.
Discussing being snubbed by Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate, Solanke told Sky Sports: “I was disappointed.
“I feel like I've had a great season so far.
“Obviously playing for your country is a dream for everyone, so it's something I wanted to be a part of and didn't quite manage.
“But hopefully if I just keep doing what I'm doing, I can get that chance soon."
