Bournemouth midfielder Stanislas impressed by new training HQ as son turns out for U11s

Bournemouth midfielder Junior Stanislas is impressed by the ongoing work at the club's new training HQ.

The former West Ham winger currently trains at facilities adjacent to Cherries' Vitality Stadium home, with Stanislas' first visit to the under-construction complex a trip to watch his son Alex play for the under-11s.

Speaking about his impromptu look at the in-progress training ground, Stanislas told afcb.co.uk: “Alex's team have trained there two or three times and I went to watch them play a match there for the first time a couple of weeks ago.

“They were due to play over the road at Canford Park Arena but the pitches there were waterlogged so the game was moved.

“It was brilliant for the lads to be able to play their game there and all our academy members can look forward to great facilities.

“The infrastructure and the facilities are going to be amazing for them and it's great for the academy players to be part of a bright future."
