Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is more interested in adding the right quality to his team this summer.
While some fans may want a significant number of signings after a season where they finished in the bottom half, Howe has other ideas.
He believes the right way to take the team to the next level is through players who are objectively better than what is at his disposal.
He told the Daily Echo: "I don't think a massive overhaul is ever good for us. I think every manager says it, we're looking at quality rather than quantity. We'll wait and see.
"There's no guarantees, I think I say every year that there are no guarantees we'll be successful in our attempts to do what we want to do.
"We've got a good nucleus of a squad here, I think that's the key thing. I don't think there needs to be drastic changes but of course we would like to add quality if we can."
