Bournemouth keeper Boruc keen to reach 40 mark

Bournemouth goalkeeper Artur Boruc wants to play until he is 40.

The veteran keeper, who will be 39 next week, has been successful for a long time at the very top of the game.

Boruc is still at a high level, recently winning his place back from Asmir Begovic at Bournemouth.

And he believes he can keep going for a couple more years, according to his manager Eddie Howe.

Howe said to reporters: "Possibly. That will come down to Artur and his motivation levels and mindset.

"Certainly, I'm seeing someone who is very focused on his football and is very driven to do well for team.

"In terms of shape and physical condition, I do think this is up there with the best shape I've seen him in.

"He is physically very lean and doesn't look his age or play like his age, which is a huge compliment.

"He is looking after himself very well and is a top-class goalkeeper."
