Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto is not a huge fan of using social media off the field.

The shot stopper has been impressive this season, taking over from David Raya.

While Neto does have an Instagram account with a million followers, he only posts football photos and nothing personal.

Asked about social media, Neto told the Daily Echo: “To be honest, I am not very much a fan of social media.

“In the world today, it is very difficult to give your opinion, because all the time we are here criticized for the opinion.

“Myself, I am not a big fan because I think anyone can say anything and have no punishment.

“So myself, I try to live my life in the best way, work with social media just as a professional and keep my life going without giving importance to this stuff."

The 34-year-old added: “I am not very online on social media.

“I think it is a very good thing, but it is very easy for people to just lose control. I think it is too much."
