Bournemouth eyeing New York Red Bulls striker Bradley Wright-Phillips

Bournemouth are eyeing New York Red Bulls striker Bradley Wright-Phillips.

The Mirror says the former Southampton marksman shot the Big Apple club into the MLS semi-finals last weekend with his 18th goal of the campaign.

Bournemouth are exploring every possibility to improve their striking options, with Callum Wilson ruled out for the season by a severe knee injury.

Last season, Wright-Phillips, who joined the Red Bulls two years ago, hit 31 goals in 37 appearances.

The 30-year-old's talents have been recognised by Jamaica, who want him to join their qualification bid for the 2018 World Cup.
