Bournemouth defender Steve Cook has stated that last season has proven to be "emotionally and mentally draining" for him.
The south coast club enjoyed a sensational campaign last term and one of the stars for the Cherries was defender Steve Cook, who was an ever present in the starting lineup throughout the entire course of the campaign.
Cook told the Daily Echo: "It's come round very quickly. We're looking forward to it, it should be a really nice day. We've been engaged a couple of years and it was the right time. We have a young boy and Laura is pregnant again. It's nice that the off-field stuff is coming together as well.
"I'm looking forward to that, then relaxing and having a few holidays, and getting myself back together because the season has been emotionally and mentally draining, more so than being physically tiring.
"The mental side is huge and there was a period where we didn't win a lot of games, and it was difficult. I think that's what really inspired us to finish the season so well. Now we can rest up and improve for next year."
