Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham admits he sees Chelsea fullback Reece James as a role-model.

Speaking to the England YouTube channel the 17-year-old also called our right-back the 'perfect athlete' because of his skillset.

"He is one of the best players in his position in the league and maybe in Europe," Bellingham said. "He is one of the strongest alive."

James has been influential for the Blues in the season just gone, proving himself to be a threat going forward and being exceptional defensively, shutting down Raheem Sterling in the Champions League final.

"I got close to him a few times in training, and you just bounce off him," Bellingham added about training alongside the 21-year-old with the England squad. "He is so strong and fast and powerful.

"I'm trying to get to that level physically, but I'm quite a way behind."
